Is the WdBasic plugin really free?
Yes. The plugin and its SEO audit are free, and connecting a free WdBasic account costs nothing. Paid plans are optional and have no contract.
What does the free SEO checker look at?
It reviews on-page basics such as titles and meta descriptions, whether search engines can see your site, and general site health, then explains each finding in plain language.
Do I need to connect an account?
No. The audit works on its own. Connecting is optional and adds things like Search Console set up and explained, a monthly report, alerts, and proposed improvements you can approve.
Does it work with Yoast SEO or Rank Math?
Yes. Those plugins give you fields to fill in. WdBasic checks what is in them and proposes better wording. It uses a small plugin only to connect to your site.
Will it change my site without asking?
No. Every change is a proposal you approve, edit or reject first, and any published change can be undone.
Is it available in my language?
The plugin and reports support 11 languages. Translations are being loaded on translate.wordpress.org, so until they are approved the plugin may appear in English.
