WordPress SEO service with approval on every change
A monthly SEO service for small business WordPress sites. Every week we send you specific changes to your titles, descriptions, FAQs and articles. You approve the ones you want, and only those go live.
What changes on your site each week
Examples are for an imaginary accountancy firm, Harrison & Co. Struck-through text is what the page says now; the green text is what we would propose.
Page titles
The line people click in Google. We rewrite weak ones around the searches your customers make.

How approval works
- Step 1
We propose
Each week you get an email with specific changes: the page, what it says now, what we suggest and why.
- Step 2
You decide
Approve, edit or reject each one. Nothing is published without your yes.
- Step 3
We publish
Approved changes go live on your WordPress site through the connection you set up.
- Step 4
You can undo
Any published change can be reversed from your account. A weekly report shows what changed.

WdBasic, an agency or doing it yourself
All three can work. Which one fits depends on your time, your budget and how much control you want.
| Topic | WdBasic | An SEO agency | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | WdBasic drafts and publishes; a person here checks every proposal. | The agency’s team. | You, in your own time. |
| Your say | You approve, edit or reject every change before it goes live. | Varies. Some agree each change, some work from a monthly plan. | Total. You make every call. |
| Contract | Monthly. No minimum term; cancel at any time. | Often a minimum term. Ask before you sign. | None. |
| Cost | £99 a month + VAT. Founding clients: £79 for the first three months. | Quoted per client. Ask for it in writing and for what is included. | No fees, but your time, and perhaps SEO tools. |
| Best when | You have a WordPress site and no time or in-house skill for SEO. | You need wider marketing, such as ads, design or a rebuild. | You enjoy the work and have a few hours a week to spare. |
Questions
What does a WordPress SEO service actually change?
On-page and technical things that sit on your own site: page titles, meta descriptions, FAQs, page text, new articles and settings that affect whether search engines can read your site. We don’t buy links or run adverts.
Do I have to approve every change?
Yes. Nothing is published until you approve it by email or in your account, and you can edit or reject any proposal. You can also undo a published change at any time.
Is there a contract?
No. Growth is billed monthly at £99 + VAT with no minimum term. Founding clients pay £79 a month for the first three months, and there are ten founding places. Everything we published stays on your site if you stop.
Will this get me to the top of Google?
We can’t promise that, and nobody honestly can. Google decides rankings. We fix what is holding your site back, tell you exactly what changed and report on what happened afterwards.
How is this different from an SEO plugin?
A plugin gives you settings and leaves you to decide what to put in them. WdBasic works out what to change, drafts it, and publishes it once you approve. It uses a small plugin only to connect to your site.
